Sometimes, you roll your ankle and tear up your knee and it is a terrible time to go to the water park, but it is also the literally only week your family could use the free water park tickets you were given at the Strawberry Days parade. In this case, everyone else enjoys the water park and you sit under a tree for 3.5 hours, wherein you finish the physical book you brought, finish the rest of the book you were reading on your phone (in fairness, it was almost done already), and then read half of a new book on your phone. I was very grateful for A) shade and B) the fact that I always have a lot of books on Libby/my Kindle app. Everyone else had a really great time!
